Shipping Methods

We offer standard shipping, expedited shipping, and international shipping. Available methods are displayed at checkout.

Shipping Rates

Rates are calculated based on the weight of your order, destination, and selected shipping method — shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Free shipping applies to orders over $99.

Delivery Time

Standard shipping within the contiguous United States typically takes 3–7 business days; expedited shipping may arrive within 1–3 business days. International times vary by country.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor your shipment.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to addresses within the United States and select international destinations. We're unable to deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Customs & Import Duties

For international orders, customs and import duties may apply on delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Order Modifications

Once an order is placed, we're unable to modify the shipping address or method — please double-check your details before purchase.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, contact us immediately at shop@aleadingrole.com so we can help.

30-Day Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase. Items must be in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

How to Start a Return

Email shop@aleadingrole.com to begin. Once approved, you'll receive a return authorization number and instructions. Please include a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our mistake or a defective product. Please package items securely and use a trackable service.

Refunds

Once approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Direct exchanges aren't available — simply return your item and place a new order.

Restocking Fee

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings, swimwear, and perishable goods cannot be returned.

How quickly will my order ship?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, with standard US delivery in 3–7 business days. Orders over $99 ship free.

What is your return window?

30 days from the date of purchase, for items in original condition with tags attached. A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns. See Returns & Exchanges.

Are your licensed pieces official?

Yes — A Leading Role holds licensing deals with Disney, Universal, Mattel and more. Every licensed piece is an official, approved product.

What sizes do you offer?

Most children's dress up runs 3/4 through 9/10, and premium adult pieces run 2XS through 3XL, varying by style. Check each product page and the Size Guide.

How do I care for my dress up?

Each piece includes care instructions. Most premium pieces are gentle-cycle or spot-clean to protect elevated fabrics and details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to select international destinations. Customs and import duties are the recipient's responsibility.

Infant, Toddler & Child

Children's styles run in ranges: 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10, with dedicated infant and toddler charts below that. Between sizes? We recommend sizing up for longer wear — imagination grows fast.

Premium Adult Dress Up

Adult styles — including our Barbie The Movie premium collection — run 2XS through 3X, varying by silhouette. Each product page lists its available range.

Footwear

Sparkle heels and metallic boots are sized in standard US children's sizes. For half sizes, size up.

Headwear

Our hats are one size fits most.

Pet

Pet sizing is based on weight, neck and chest measurement — see the chart on each pet product page.
