Shipping Rates

Rates are calculated based on the weight of your order, destination, and selected shipping method — shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Free shipping applies to orders over $99.

Delivery Time

Standard shipping within the contiguous United States typically takes 3–7 business days; expedited shipping may arrive within 1–3 business days. International times vary by country.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor your shipment.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to addresses within the United States and select international destinations. We're unable to deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Customs & Import Duties

For international orders, customs and import duties may apply on delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Order Modifications

Once an order is placed, we're unable to modify the shipping address or method — please double-check your details before purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

Return & Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase. Items must be in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

Your Three Options

  1. Exchange for a different size — the same piece in a different size. There is no restocking fee, and we email you a prepaid return label so the postage is on us. Your replacement ships once your original reaches us and passes inspection. If the size you need has sold out, we will tell you straight away and you can take store credit or a refund instead.
  2. Store credit — take store credit instead of a refund and the 15% restocking fee is waived, so you keep the full value of the piece to spend on anything in the collection. We email you a prepaid return label for this too, so the postage is on us.
  3. Refund — issued to the original method of payment, less a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping is at your own cost.

How to Start a Return or Exchange
Start online at aleadingrole.com/pages/start-a-return. Enter your order number and the email on the order, choose the pieces coming back and the reason, then choose an exchange, store credit or a refund — you will see exactly what each one is worth before you decide. Your return is confirmed on the spot, and where a prepaid label applies it arrives by email straight away. There is no authorization number to wait for.

Return Shipping
We cover return shipping when you are exchanging for a different size, when you are taking store credit, when the item is defective, or when the return is due to a mistake on our part — we will email you a prepaid label. You cover it only when you are returning for a refund to your original method of payment.. Please package items securely and use a trackable service.

Refunds and Store Credit
Once approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, less the 15% restocking fee. Store credit is issued as soon as your return passes inspection, with no restocking fee deducted. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee applies to refunds. It is waived entirely if you take store credit instead, and it does not apply to size exchanges or to items that are defective or sent in error.

Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings, swimwear, and perishable goods cannot be returned.

Time Limit
Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days from the date of purchase. Returns received after this period may not be accepted.

How do I care for my dress up?

Each piece includes care instructions. Most premium pieces are gentle-cycle or spot-clean to protect elevated fabrics and details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to select international destinations. Customs and import duties are the recipient's responsibility.
